US and sent
detachments to carry out similar operations in Africa, the
CBI theater, the
Near and Middle East, Mexico, Canada, Alaska, and the
Caribbean. Used B-17,
B-24, B-25, B-29, F-2, F-9, F-10, and A-20
aircraft. Disbanded on 5 Oct 1944.
