2nd Lt. Warren J. Sheneman

Lt. Sheneman was the 22year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo W. Sheneman of Lancaster Pa. He was a fighter pilot with the 73rd Fighter Squadron, 318th Fighter Group in the Pacific Theater, flying more then 30 strafing and ship bombing missions. Lt. Sheneman was KIA over Iwo Jima Jan.5, 1945. Decorations and citations received include, Distinguised Flying Cross, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Closters and the Purple Heart.
