Crewmember of Lonesome Polecat II B-17F (230255) 95th Bomb Group, shot down on 16Dec43 mission to Bremen, Germany. MIA for 60 years until investigation in 2003 discovered surviving crew members and eye witnesses on Texel Island, Netherlands, who saw him parachute through clouds into Wadden Sea and being badly wounded could not get out of chute.
