| My Dad served with the 47 Bomb. Squadron, 41st Bomb. Group, 7th AF. He was a AP Machinic (MOS 555) and a first class aerial gunner. the 47th was stationed throughout the central pacific, including Abemama,Makin,Eniwetok,and Okenawa. He returned to the US in '46 and married my Mom. They raised 6 kids together and were married over 50 years. My Dad was quite a guy. |
