| John came home to his wife and daughter after the war. He and Laura moved to the west, welcomed two more daughters to their family, worked as a postmaster while serving in the reserves, retired as a Lt. Col., went home to be with his Lord and was buried with honors at Willamette National Cemetary in Portland,Oregon. |
