His fighter group was stationed in southeast England (Nuthampstead) from the Battle of Britain until VE Day. His pilots were Captain Joseph E (Dirty) Dyer, commanding officer 343rd squadron and Captain Griffen (Grif) Allen, Flight Leader 343rd squadron.
Currently living in Texas; father of 7 GREAT kids and 7 even greater grand children.
