Arrived Liverpool, England April 1944 was in a casual pool and sent to Aldermasten Court as clerk-typist to headquarters XIX TAC. Was in first unit to land in France July 2, 1944 and remained with unit until May 1945 and was transferred to US Army returning to England for infantry basic training and completed basic the day war ended in May 1945 at which time returned to France and was assigned to 82nd Reinforcment Bn until I had the equilent of 50 points of which I returned to the states and was Discharged on Christmas day 1945
