Waist and tail gunner on B24 Liberator "BTO" (Big Time Operator). Pilot-Charles Rowland 445th BG, 2nd Air Div, Eighth Air Force. Interned in Sweden. Crashed landed on 13th misson. Was awarded DFC after 50 years.
